Designed originally for speleologists, the Explorer II's 24-hour hand and fixed steel bezel make it one of the purest, most purposeful tool watches Rolex has ever produced. Condition
This piece presents in excellent pre-owned condition. The 40 mm Oystersteel case retains sharp lug geometry with only light hairlines consistent with careful wear. The white "Polar" dial is clean, with tritium indexes and hands aged in a uniform, attractive cream tone. Bezel, crystal and bracelet are in very good order. The movement has been fully overhauled and the watch is supplied with a post-service warranty.
